Jeff was a partner in a Southfield, Michigan law firm until 1983. After moving to Florida, Jeff became a partner at Kirk Pinkerton, which later became the Sarasota office of Dykema Gossett, Michigan's largest law firm. In 1990, Jeff established his own practice. A Florida Bar Board Certified real estate lawyer, Jeff has had extensive courtroom and trial experience during his many years of practice in addition to his experience with real estate and business matters, disputes and transactions. Jeff holds a real estate broker license, mortgage broker license, securities license, insurance license, and is licensed as a real estate instructor. Although he is not involved in real estate brokerage or loan origination, Jeff teaches courses to real estate licensees.
Jeff and his wife, Julie, have two children and reside in Sarasota.

Cynthia “Cyndi” Riddell grew up in Sarasota and has returned to the area to head the bankruptcy and real estate related debt matters practice group at the Riddell Law Group. Cyndi has published articles regarding bankruptcy cram downs and securitization of mortgage-backed securities. She also contributes to a local bankruptcy blog website.
